At Dream Weaver Pets, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized Maine Coon kittens. We take great care in our breeding program and ensure all kittens are healthy at the time they leave our home.
🩺 Health at Time of Adoption
All kittens are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of pickup or delivery.
We strongly recommend that all buyers:
Schedule a wellness exam with a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival
Maintain regular veterinary care throughout the cat’s life
⏱️ 48-Hour Health Guarantee
We provide a 48-hour health guarantee from the time the kitten leaves our care.
To validate this:
The kitten must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours
Any serious medical concern must be documented in writing
Failure to complete this exam may void the guarantee.
🚫 What Is Not Covered
We do not cover:
Illnesses that develop after leaving our care
Stress-related conditions (travel, relocation, environmental changes)
Parasites, minor illnesses, or common treatable conditions
Any veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer
Health can be influenced by many factors outside of our control, including environment, diet, stress, and exposure.
🧬 Genetic Health Guarantee (Limited)
We provide a limited 12-month genetic health guarantee covering:
Life-threatening hereditary defects of the heart, liver, or kidneys
To qualify:
The condition must be verified by a licensed veterinarian
Documentation must be provided
Additional confirmation or testing may be required
If a qualifying condition is confirmed:
Our responsibility is limited to a replacement kitten of equal value, when available
⚠️ Important Conditions
A necropsy may be required in the event of death to determine cause
All testing and veterinary costs are the buyer’s responsibility
👉 No replacement will be provided if a kitten is euthanized without prior written approval from Dream Weaver Pets
🐾 Buyer Responsibilities
By adopting a kitten, the buyer agrees to:
Provide proper nutrition and veterinary care
Keep the cat as an indoor companion
Maintain a safe, low-stress environment
Once a kitten leaves our care, ongoing health and wellbeing become the responsibility of the buyer.

While we are not responsible for conditions that arise after a kitten leaves our care, we genuinely care about every kitten we place.
In difficult situations, we may choose to offer support or options at our discretion as a gesture of goodwill—but this does not imply liability.
